(More customer reviews)This toy is very disappointing. My daughter received this as a gift and even I can't use it, the quality is so poor. The motor is not strong enough to run well when you're trying to mold the clay, and the plastic shaping tools that attach to the wheel are not high enough quality and durability to shape the clay. They just get stuck, and if you continue to run the wheel with the tools touching the clay, the whole thing will break. A total waste of money.

Activa Hearty Super Lightweight Modeling Clay (1.75 Ounce) Review

(More customer reviews)This is over all fantastic. But the clay "tears" far easier than normal playing clay so stretching can result in tearing far too easily, but it just means being far more careful and gentle with it.
The real problem I'm deducting a point for is after it hardens, which it does after a day or so, (which is fine) and sits for a couple of months, it further dries up. The color fades slightly and... hmmm, imagine having chocolate sit on the counter for a few months. The material feels & sounds hallow and brittle after a few months.

(More customer reviews)I actually ordered this as a replacement knife. My first Olfa knife was so awesome it was permanently borrowed, but that wont happen to this one! I really love how this knife feels when you are cutting for long periods of time. I also really love the secure way the blade is held in place. Most knifes out there can feel kind of cheep or unsteady in your hand due to poor construction, but the olfa feels really stable and secure. As a working fine artist I use this knife almost every day, so the fact that it can use any standard blade and always delivers day after day really makes it worth the price! If you are thinking about this knife I say you won't be disappointed!

X-ACTO Standard Knife Set Review

(More customer reviews)Bought this kit over the more popular basic set and Im glad I did. This one had lots more blades and is only a few dollars more.
I greatly prefer the all metal #6 handle in this set to the mostly plastic #5 handle in the standard set. Its got a nice weight, but isnt too heavy.
They both come with #1 and #2 handles, but this set comes with two extra #11 blades which are probably the most useful and common x-acto blades. This is in addition to the many other extra blades that come with this set obviously.
The way I see it, why not spend about 5 extra bucks one time to get the full set? This way you have everything you'll ever need and you wont have to buy much else later.
Overall, this set is very nice and has that nice x-acto high quality feel. The blades came oiled and are all VERY sharp. The wooden box is great for storage and the magnetic blade holder is a nice touch. 5/5.

Even though the product is firm, after rolling it in her warm hands, she was able to mold it easily. I think this is a great product for anyone who is artsy. I like it because it lets her imagination run wild and she can create whatever she wants to. I highly suggest this for those who have a creative side to them.
