very easily, although I may have left some residual spray wax moisture on it after I first opened it, and then put it back in the original package. None-the-less, it appears that one should
coat the saw with some sort of protection, WD-40, paste wax, etc. or apparently it will rust easily. Other than that, it is quite a nice tool, which I use for guitar nut slots, or I have used it on small doweling.
