(More customer reviews)When I started building plastic models, I bought tools that left my models scratched, chipped and jagged all over. It wasn't until I did some websurfing that I found the one product that meets all my modeling needs--Tamiya's basic tool set. This includes a side cutter for separating plastic parts; a metal file for smoothing out rough edges; a pair of angled tweezers for handling small parts; two screwdrivers for the models that require them; and a retractable knife with a snap-off blade. Most of these tools (two of which are untested) fulfill their purpose well, and all the tools make this set a must-own for any hobbyist.

Since this product includes sharp objects, parental supervision is strongly advised if the product is being used by children.
