(More customer reviews)Maybe I am just spoiled with the effectiveness of Milliput superfine putty, or Aves Apoxie sculpt. This squadron product, in my opinion was just not up to par with such a large array of other putty companies out there. Maybe 2-part putties can be a bit messy, but this putty just had too many problems. It dried FAST, I mean, within minutes it was next to useless for molding into place. It dried within half an hour like the tube says, but that is no redeeming factor. It was easier to sand and touch up generally speaking, but I hope if a future buyer does this they are well prepared for the putty to fall out. I found myself, on the verge on completing a very well done project, only to have the putty fall out of the model and make my work look flawed. I think if this product is purchased for a child in the beginning stages of scale model work as a hobby, it would be ideal, but even Testors brand contour putty would probably be a better purchase. Overall, if you want putty for a scale model, buy something else, you would be better off mixing your own putty out of white flour and elmers glue.
